Grandpa Building Memories...PRICELESS!!!
Hi! Grandpa here. Welcome to a new episode in my life. I anticipate this being an exciting and exhilarating experience. Please let me explain.
In early 2009, the only thing I knew about gold prospecting was that it was something the old-timers did in California in 1849. One afternoon I was watching T.V. and I happened to find a program called "Gold Fever" on the "Outdoor Channel". Well, to make a long story short, I caught the worst case of the "FEVER" I could possibly get. The search for more information about gold prospecting took me somewhere I never thought I'd go, that being into the world of computers and the www.'s.
A few months later on a trip in North Georgia to see the grandkids I bought a gold panning kit at North Georgia Relics in Ringgold, GA. When I spend money on something I am committed, and this time I should have been! I started making anything a guy might possibly need in the search for the elusive "yellow metal". I made sluice boxes, classifiers, hand dredges, concentrate cleaning equipment and magnets.
My family did some videos about me and my stuff, and decided to put it on www.YOUTUBE.COM/MsMGiles Channel and call it "Grandpa's Gold Show". As you can now see, it is an evolving part of my life. This website is dedicated to promoting "recreational gold prospecting" as an enjoyable and rewarding individual and family activity. It also promotes the making of gold prospecting equipment using recycled and reused materials. My family says that one of the definitions of "cheap" in the dictionary is GRANDPA! You ask, "What is a Gold Whisperer?
The "Gold Whisperer" is an apparatus that is designed to be used in the stream or at home to recover heavy minerals, including GOLD, when a natural flow or man-made flow of water washes over it. It has been field-tested and tested at home by Grandpa, and it does what it is supposed to do...CATCH GOLD!
Grandpa has submitted a Provisional Patent Application to the U.S. Patent Office and as of 12/05/11 has a "Patent Pending" status on his creation.
