Hi Grandpa here. This is the page I love. My motto is "It's Not What It Is, It's What It Can Be". I enjoy the excitement found in prospecting not only in the creeks and streams, but also in the flea markets, resale shops, and in the street-side trash put out for those of us who consider ourselves professional recycling specialists. I am always seeking that "nugget" of whatever that I can use to create or reuse to help "save the planet" and save me some $$$$.
This page is dedicated to my creations. They are all one-of-a-kind items that are made from materials I have found thrown out by people in my community. I know this is not just happening in my part of the country but yours also. I am always on the lookout for parts and pieces and actually create a parts list when I am anticipating a new project. Sometimes I put out a wish list to my relatives for possible gifts to cover the expensive items. Believe it or not, most of our PVC and hardware is already made out of recycled materials whether foreign or domestically made.
Just for kicks, I call my creations the "HOLD MY GOLD" brand. If anyone uses that name, you'll know where they got it first.
